Thessalian Plain, the largest plain of Greece, has a leading role in the agricultural history and economy of the country.

In the fertile lowlands of Larissa, the cultivation of lentils and chickpeas has been a tradition for centuries providing tasteful products that are easy to cook and of high nutritional value, thanks to the soil composition, the waters of the rivers and the microclimate of the region.

In 2003, AGROTIS Ltd was founded in Larissa aiming to provide consumers with Greek, high quality pulses, free of GMO and certified by AGROCERT according to AGRO2-1 and AGRO2-2 standards. In this way, consumer knows the origin of the products, is aware that they are safe for their health and that they have been produced in an environmentally-friendly way.
